RAMP INFORMATION:

Any sailors arriving early and who wish to train at the Squadron can utilise Ramp 3. This area has nearby coach-boat mooring pontoon and shower and change facilities close by. This will also be the staging area for the Team Racing regatta. From the 5th launching can be conducted from the Main Ramp and utilise the main rigging lawns. Please note that the MAIN RAMP will be restricted in availability during the Laser Australian Championship to allow that fleet clear access in and out during their launch windows.  

TRAILOR PARKING:

Trailer and boat unloading will occur on the dinghy hard-stand to the South of the Main Clubhouse of RQYS. This will be a traffic controlled drive-in/drive out setup. Limited Trailer Parking will be available however the Squadron Strongly Recommends that Parents and Supporters take trailers home if possible. Public Parking is available outside the Squadron gates, as well as down Davenport Drive, immediately to the South of the Squadron. Support Boats and Trailers are to be launched from the Public ramp to the West of the Squadron. There will be no on-site parking available for Support Boat trailers, Cars and Trailers can be parked in the Public Boat Ramp carpark to the West of the Squadron. 

The Australian Youth Championships commence immediately following the Optimist Nationals, their drop-off may impede access to trailers during the Optimist Departure. Larger trailers (double axel or carrying 10 or more Optis) can be arranged to be stored inside the hard-stand by prior contact with our Sailing Office. Please email sailing@rqys.com.au

The Squadron is working on developing the trailer drop-off process by the installation of more gates, and freeing up of more space to facilitate a safe environment for parents, supporters, and athletes, to unload their boats and equipment.

Marina berths at RQ – will only be available to those who have purchased a 2018 Support Boat package = $100 Marina Berth, trailer storage, $50 fuel card.

The Support boat flag and fuel card will be supplied at the Event Services Desk.  The fuel card will have $50 credit loaded onto it, after this amount is used, further fuel purchases may be made by using :

Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club cards can be used to purchase fuel. 
When using the credit card facility you will be required to use your 4 digit PIN (related to that specific card) and Credit Card surcharges apply
